He founded Palmetto Partners, LLC, in 2008 to provide entrepreneurs with the best fit for their accounting needs by matching them with the right CPA. By working with several qualified, pre-screened firms, Palmetto Partners has connected more than 2,500 businesses based on their needs, budget, industry, and personality and sold more than $10 million in new monthly recurring revenue and $4 million in backwork in my tenure. Not every accounting pro is a fit for every business, so our strength lies in understanding the nuances that make for a great relationship. Michael is the author of In the Black: 52 Weekly Strategies to Grow Your Business Fast. He has been a featured presenter with both local and national business associations and has also worked with companies in various industries to improve their sales and marketing programs. This broad knowledge has helped him identify areas of improvement to increase profits for business owners of all types.
He’s a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been a professional jazz guitarist since the age of 13. He lives in Eagle, Wisconsin, with his wife, daughter, and four-legger, Minnie.
